We are want to recruit a 9 Month Fixed Term Contract PA to the Bursar as a Maternity Cover. This role is a busy, hands on role, providing high quality administrative support to the Bursar / CFO and Finance team.

The Successful Candidate Needs To Be Able To

PA to the Bursar Requirements:
  • Handle sensitive data with discretion.
  • Co-ordinate and then minute the Governing body meetings.
  • Be the key point of contact on insurance.
  • Assist the finance and Enterprises teams.
  • Support a project to go paperless.
  • Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with all staff at all levels.
The job holder will need to be able develop and maintain good working relationships with all staff at all levels and need to demonstrate previous experience of handing sensitive information with discretion and coordinating and taking meeting minutes.

About Denstone College

Denstone College is a co-educational, boarding and day, 11 - 18 school with over 600 students. It’s stunning main building was begun in 1868 and took five years to complete with the school opening its doors in 1873. Recent years have however seen much investment in the site, with three new teaching blocks added over the last eight years along with additional sporting facilities, boarding accommodation and general improvement. In November 2017, the school was inspected by ISI and received ’excellent’ judgements in all areas. Denstone is often described as a "success story", having more than doubled pupil numbers over the last fifteen years, alongside rising academic and co-curricular standards.

Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week

Salary: £23,800 per annum
