Domestic Services Assistant Responsibilities
  • Maximising the cleanliness of the area(s) of the College allocated to you for your care, using the appropriate combination of sweeping, vacuuming, washing and/or polishing.
  • Maintain appropriate contact with the member of the academic staff (e.g. Housemaster, Head of Department) who is responsible for the area which you clean.
  • Promote the safeguarding and welfare of children with whom you come into contact.
  • Develop and maintain a good working relationship with the residents, staff, pupils, contractors and other guests.
  • To maintain the highest possible standards of cleanliness across the College and to perform a variety of specific duties relative to assigned area of responsibility.
About Denstone College.

Denstone College is a co-educational, boarding and day, 11-18 school with over 600 students. It’s stunning main building dates back to 1868 and took five years to complete with the school opening its doors in 1873. Recent years have seen much investment in the site, with three new teaching blocks added over the last eight years along with additional sporting facilities, boarding accommodation and general improvement. In November 2017, the school was inspected by ISI and received ’excellent’ judgements in all areas.
