We have an excellent opportunity for an Oracle Team Leader to join our expanding delivery function in the UK. This role will take ownership of our Oracle operations, as we continue to provide best in class Oracle support to an ever-growing customer list. About the role:

Reporting to the Head of Delivery, this role will manage our Oracle resources and consultants, ensuring that we are providing the best level of functional and technical Oracle support to our customer base.

As an Oracle SME, you will be tasked with ensuring that our Oracle support continues to be delivered efficiently, effectively, and professionally.

This role is based in our Berkshire head office, a two-minute walk from Thatcham train station with free on-site parking and easy access to many nearby towns and cities.

Responsibilities:
  • Being Support Revolution’s lead Oracle SME, operating as the day-to-day management point for Oracle related activities
  • Leading on the delivery of technical and functional solutions to Support Revolution’s customer base, in a timely and hands-on manner
  • Working collaboratively with the wider delivery team to ensure that KPIs and SLAs are continuously monitored and achieved
  • Management of a team of Oracle consultants, including regular 121s, monthly, quarterly, and yearly appraisals
  • Ensuring that the wider team is led, coached, and developed
  • Contributing to wider pre-sales activity, and supporting the sales team on the sales process when needed
  • Ensuring continuous compliance with internal policies and governance
  • Ensuring that processes around the Oracle function are continuously improved
What we’re looking for:

Being an Oracle SME is essential for this role, as is experience of, and exposure to, Oracle E-Business Suite. Experience in leading and developing a team is needed to succeed, as is an appreciation for working in a high-growth environment. A background in consultancy/a consulting role would be highly beneficial.
  • In-depth experience with Oracle environments and systems, with a functional Oracle background
  • Experience in and exposure to Oracle E-Business Suite is essential
  • A strong overall understanding of Oracle products
  • Demonstrable experience of running Oracle based projects
  • Previous experience in leading, developing and growing a team of Oracle consultants
  • Experience in an Oracle consultancy, or in a lead Oracle consultancy position, would be strongly beneficial
  • Great communication skills, both internally and externally
  • A personable, ambitious, and organised personality
