Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Setting up and running SMT (surface mount technology) assembly lines.
  • Loading and scanning material onto feeders , component identification ,orientation and verification.
  • De-kitting feeders at end of build.
  • Understanding ESD practices would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of SMT processes would be advantageous.
  • Able to read and understand technical drawings and process instructions.
  • Experience of on line equipment preferred but not essential as training can be provided:-
DEK solder paste printers.

Mycronics jet printer.

Solder paste inspection machines.

Siplace Pick and Place machines.

AOI machines.

Convection reflow ovens.
  • Comfortable using computers and various operating systems.
  • SAP knowledge an advantage.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Self-motivated, autonomous, and proven “do–it yourself” attitude.
  • High energy level with a hands-on approach in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • Experience with SAP an advantage.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task to meet deadlines.
  • Must be able to work in a team and be flexible.
