Do you have operational warehouse experience and want to share it with others? Can you act as our ambassador for learning and actively promote a training culture?


Here at XPO, we are recruiting for Warehouse Trainer to support our team in Denby on the SC Johnson Contract. This is a permanent, full time position, with the responsibility for all internal training, control of all ABC’s, risk assessments, delivery of MHE training and ensuring that all training matrix are accurately held. You’ll work on a Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 16:00 shift pattern, however a degree of flexibility will be required.

What you’ll do on a typical day:


  • Deliver group training at operative level for existing and new colleagues, as well as cross-training
  • Complete safety audits in line with QHSE
  • Complete and maintain risk assessments across the operation
  • Maintain records of training activities to ensure legislative requirements are met
  • Ensure effective communication and sharing of best practice to achieve a consistent approach


What you need to succeed at XPO:


  • Previous training experience would be advantageous
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Holder of an RTITB accreditation or equivalent
  • Able to establish priorities and accomplish multiple tasks with minimal supervision
  • PC literate in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
