Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are recruiting on behalf of our FMCG client in North Yorkshire. Due to their continued growth, they are looking to strengthen their senior management team with the appointment of an Operations Manager.rk

The Role

As Operations Manager, you will be required to provide additional support to the existing management team in order to meet customer demand and to ensure a robust, operational process from intake through to dispatch. Your role will also require you to uphold and maintain the high standards and interests of the Company. This role would suit an experienced Operations Manager with a strong FMCG background, or a Supervisor / Manager with knowledge and experience working with meat who is looking for the next step within their career.

The Operations Manager role is a customer facing position, which will require you to discuss and, in some cases, process orders directly from the customer. You will be expected to work with existing Managers and review areas of the production process, stock management and logistical function, identifying operational improvements. You will drive through agreed process improvements across logistics and production, whilst liaising with various heads of department whilst maintaining specified quality, safety and hygiene standards;

Requirements

Experience within the food production sector is essential, although experience with in the meat industry would be preferred.

IT literate and ideally have experience of using and bespoke sales ordering and stock management systems.

People management preferred

Food hygiene L2

Experience using management systems
