We are currently looking for an Operations Assistant to join our Exeter office on a full time and permanent basis. You will provide administrative assistance to transactional teams within our busy Residential Property department, managing initial paperwork which includes client questionnaires, Contract packs, Estate Agents’ memorandums of sale and ordering property searches on a day to day basis. This role also involves providing estate agents, solicitors, brokers and clients file updates by telephone and answering general queries.
Other duties may include:

  • Checking completed Registrations and ledger balancing
  • Archiving completed files
  • Administering ID checks
  • Assisting with other general admin duties

About you
In order to be considered for this role you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, have the ability to remain calm under pressure and be able to meet scheduled work deadlines. You will also have the ability to use your own initiative and work as part of a team in a fast paced environment. It is also essential that you are able to manage your own workload and are able to proactively seek resourceful ways in ensuring that work is completed to the expected professional standard. You must take pride in your work and be enthusiastic about presenting Ashfords as a reputable business.
