Would you like to lead a dedicated team that are responsible for the first line of assurance in a company producing a quality product?

Torbay Pharmaceuticals (TP) are looking for an OQA lead within the Quality Team, which is a full time permanent position. The OQA team offer a broad range knowledge in all of TP processes and it is this knowledge that enables the team to be involved in all levels of decision making with the business.

The role involves leading the OQA team to ensure they provide a committed and business critical service within TP. We certify all process activities are carried out in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulations to maintain a quality product and reduce the risk to the end user. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to help improve systems and drive change.

This position is required to work shifts between 6am - 8pm
  • Management of the OQA Team to ensure all OQA activities are completed on a daily basis.
  • Provide functional and technical support to Production within Torbay Pharmaceuticals
  • Perform quality critical checks on the manufacturing lines to ensure compliance has been maintained to assure product quality
  • Participate in product investigations
  • To support all Production functions in OQA activities
  • Be the first point of call when problems occur and have responsibility to ensure that these problems are reviewed and closed in a timely manner.
The main requirement of the role is to closely work with production to ensure that all GMP requirements are adhered to

Please note: As part of the production team you will be working within a controlled/graded cleanroom environment whilst wearing specialist cleanroom gowning to minimise contamination
