The Onboarding Manager Directs, manages, leads, and coordinates the integration of existing and/or new Information Technology solutions according to requirements of one or more functions, businesses, geographies, and/or IT transformational activities. Areas of responsibility may include business and technical systems design, acquisition and/or development, implementation, and support; infrastructure design, acquisition, implementation, operation, and maintenance; client services support. Establishes functional business plans and technical project/program objectives to meet the short- and long-term goals and metrics of the organization, including internal/external partners required to utilize alternative resourcing plans. Understands, articulates, and optimizes application and process capabilities for use by multiple/all business and IT constituents; drives architectural standards and simplification. Ensures the design, development, delivery and supportability of services/solutions for businesses are in accordance with business and IT objectives.

What kind of work would you be doing?
  • Supervise a moderate or large team primarily comprised of non-exempt or ENT/INT employees, and contingent workforce with well-defined, limited scope, includingdirecting daily work activities/priorities, people recruitment and development, cost management. May supervise Supervisor I.
  • Directs daily work activities of teams providing IT services to internal company users to solve various business systems and applications problems for customers.
  • Services are provided on standard, specialized or complex systems.
  • Role is primarily tactical in nature. May include some budgetary or planning activies.
  • Ensure operational excellence by monitoring key metrics and ensuring team goals and contractual commitments are met. Ensures organizational business plans and strategies are communicated and understood; drives performance planning and review.
  • Resolve/monitor routine customer escalations, as appropriate. Proactively seeks opportunities for process and service improvements and surfaces them.
What achievements should you have so far?
  • Typically a technical bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience plus six years’ experience in the function or an equivalent function are required. Two to three years’ supervisory or leadership experience is typically required.
  • Advanced supervisory experience is typically required. Demonstrated team leadership skills including verbal and written communication skills, collaboration skills, and the ability to effectively engage in a geographically dispersed team. Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse group of individuals to accomplish common goals.
