An exciting opportunity has arisen in our facilities department. We are looking for an Office Services Assistant to join the team, reporting into the Office Services Supervisor.
The team comprises a mix of in house management and direct service teams, and outsourced managed contracts covering all aspects of Facilities Management, including procurement, hospitality, reception and catering, mail room, moves and changes, cleaning, security and ancillary services, as well as having full responsibility for all mechanical and electrical services in the building.
The main duties are to undertake all aspects of Office Services duties within set service levels and in line with set out procedures, some of these include:
- Incoming and outgoing post handling, including scanning and franking
- Meeting and seminar room furniture reconfiguration
- Assist with office reorganisation including moving furniture etc.
- Copy room services
- Goods inwards including signing for deliveries
- Maintaining notice boards
- Courier service
The main responsibilities of this role are outlined above, however this description is not exhaustive and the job holder may be required to undertake additional duties from time to time to ensure the smooth running of the department.
