Job Description

Flourish Education is currently recruiting an Office Manager to work with an Ofsted rated ‘Outstanding’ school in Alum Rock to join their staff on a long-term basis. Our client is a much larger than average primary school that strives to achieve the highest standards, they have high expectations of children and staff.

A successful candidate must have experience working in a school with knowledge of school operating systems and general desktop publishing skills. They will be responsible for managing all staff within the office. They would be expected to answer telephone calls, respond to emails, deal with enquiries and liaise with the Headteacher and staff. The school want to appoint someone who is committed, organised and productive with excellent communication skills.

This Office Manager role will start in January and will continue until the end of the academic year. The position is full time.

Required Skills And Experience For This Office Manager Role
  • Previous experience working in an administrative role within a school
  • Strong IT Skills including the ability to use Microsoft Office
  • A clear understanding of school data systems, school policies and procedures.
  • A clear understanding of the principles of Data Protection.
  • Experience using administrative software e.g. SIMS or CMIS
