Job Description

Flourish Education are working with a ’Good’ school in the Bearwood area who are currently looking to appoint a temporary site manager/caretaker with a view to making a permanent appointment during the Autumn term. Currently, the school are looking for an experienced site manager/caretaker who would be able to work 37hrs per week. The right candidate may be considered for the permanent role.

Job role
  • Site manager/Caretaker
  • Split shift pattern: 7am to 11am, 2.30pm to 6.00pm
  • 37hrs per week
  • General repair, maintenance and site safety
  • Ensuring school site is safe and prepared
  • Key holder responsibility
  • Supervising cleaning team
Required Skills And Experience
  • Previous experience as a Site Manager/Caretaker
  • Former experience as a Key Holder
  • Experience and/or training with Manual Handling, COSHH and other relevant qualifications
  • A DBS on the update service or issued in the last 12 months.
  • Minimum of 2 excellent references required.

The Caretaker/Site Manager role is within a school in the Bearwood area. School can be accessed by car and public transport, with direct links from the surrounding areas of Birmingham, Smethwick, Oldbury, Harborne, Edgbaston and Sandwell. School is located on a main bus route and is therefore easily access for those using public transport.
