We are looking to recruit a full time, permanent Adult CMHT Occupational Therapist based at Airdrie Community Health Centre.

Please note: The postholder must be a Car driver with valid driving licence and be able to accomodate a flexible working pattern to meet the requirements of the post

As part of a multi-disciplinary team, the post holder will manage a defined caseload, using evidence based practice and client centred principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions in both hospital and community settings.

The post holder is expected to develop relevant clinical skills, knowledge and experience without direct supervision.

Duties may vary depending on the care group / department / assigned area of work or level of experience

Knowledge, Training and/or Experience Required to do the Job

  • Registered Occupational Therapist with valid HCPC Registration
  • Knowledge of application of the theory underpinning OT practice
  • The post holder will be required to demonstrate excellent team working skills with the ability to work using own initiative
