We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly-motivated Nursing Associate to join our friendly, supportive and exciting team on Ward L6 at Salford Royal Care Organisation, Part of the Northern Care Alliance.

Main duties of the job

You will work as part of the multi-disciplinary health care team providing planned care and delivering the highest standards of patient care within Ward L6. The role is exciting and challenging, where compassion, team work, excellent communication skills, emotional resilience and initiative are paramount. L6 is an acute medical wards within the Division of Integrated Care specialising in diabetes and endocrinology.

Training will be provided to the successful candidate.

You will need to have experience of working in an acute hospital environment or community setting as well as a Nursing Associate qualification at level 4. Experience of working with patients with acute medical patient’s would be an advantage.

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • NVQ level 3 plus diploma (foundation degree)
  • NMC

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Experience of working with patients who have dementia
  • Experience of working in a health care setting
  • Experience of undertaking clinical observations and recording of documentation

Level 4 qualification

Essential criteria
  • Nursing Associate level 4
