What You’ll Do
  • Within the Business Units you will own the market interlocks. Organise sessions, agree content, precis presentations, take minutes and drive actions.
  • Be responsible for key Technology strategic and innovation projects, deliver outcomes that are optimal for the organisation and in line with the Business 2025 & Tech 2025 objectives.
  • Manage the innovation claim back process within business units, consortium partners and Govt.
  • Inputs and evaluation of business cases, including justification of spend
  • Supports the collation of UK Networks Competitive Intelligence data from external and internal sources, including the publication of the monthly report
  • Support network-based marketing claims and provide an input to UK strategy for items such as spectrum usage, vendor and technology choices
  • Further develop our LPM/SAFe strategy in Networks and own the Networks Product Roadmap

Who You Are
You will have business acumen and who has experience with defining and communicating a business and technology strategy - and can engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders. You will drive the embedding of commercial priorities and customer experience into Networks’ decision making. You will be able to successfully bridge the gap between the Networks and Commercial Teams. In particular, you will help prioritise and communicate the Networks’ initiatives, opportunities and constraints in order to support the commercial, marketing and brand teams to best serve existing customers and support the launch of new propositions. Conversely, you will make sure that any decision regarding network strategy and investments reflects the relevant commercial strategies.This role requires a candidate who is comfortable dealing with ambiguity, works well managing a matrix organisation, has great inter-personal skills and is passionate about technology
  • Ability to think strategically about business, products and technology.
  • Excellent communication skills - engage with Senior Stakeholders, C-Level Suites
  • Confidently and Effectively explain complex concepts in an accessible way.
  • Background of defining and implementing strategic plans
  • Knowledge of Mobile and Fixed markets.
  • Excellent Project / Programme Management Skills.
  • Excellent People Management Skills.
  • Analytical Skills - Excel / Power BI / Python
