New product Coordinator (Exeter)

Full time permanent role, Monday to Friday

Reporting directly to the Manager, this exciting and wide-ranging role will enable the right candidate to develop a career within a market leading agricultural machinery parts business.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Assists in gathering and interpretating data from market research, competitive intelligence, industry associations, suppliers, and sales reports to inform recommendations for portfolio growth, maintenance and new introductions.
• Supports projects to deliver company goals with a high attention to detail and the ability to understand technical specifications, compliances requirements, forecasts, and target costs and pricing to support profitable portfolio growth.
• Helps create and deliver technical and marketing information for use in promotional activities that support customer decision making, company website and other promotional activities to grow sales.
• Clear understanding product life-cycle and how to apply this to critically evaluate and maintain product portfolios.
• Develop a broad and deep understanding of the assigned product portfolios and customer needs to support portfolio growth

Knowledge and Skills:

• Knowledge of the Agricultural sector, whole goods and parts businesses
• Understanding of importance of customer satisfaction
• Willingness to learn Company systems and procedures
• B2B experience, ideally within commercial and retail environment
• A good working knowledge of Microsoft office programs
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Desirable

• Degree in an Agricultural Sciences discipline or equivalent experience
• An engineering or parts service background
