The role of a Network Surveyor

As a Network Surveyor your role will revolve around carrying out complex in person surveys of our planned network routes, taking into account potential environmental and health & safety considerations. You will identify and propose solutions to barriers and risks to the network route, as a Network Surveyor you will work with various engineering bodies to overcome obstacles. The detailed and accurate reports you wite will play a key role in facilitating the smooth rollout of our network.

You’ll know how to…

  • Demonstrate an excellent understanding of FTTP methodologies and design
  • Navigate civils route planning and CDM legislation
  • Confidently use GIS based software, ideally QGIS
  • Identify the most efficient route for our fibre network
  • Deliver quality and accurate work on time in line with project needs
