As a Network Response Technician at Severn Trent, you will be reactively responding to supply interruptions on our network and playing a crucial role in restoring water to our customers via tankering operations, as well as supporting planned works. Therefore, a sense of urgency and quick response is essential!
You will be part of a team of varied focus and experience, which combines to make an exciting learning environment, driven by proactive improvements and reactive responses to incidents. You’ll learn about incident management, Water Quality, specialist industry leading equipment and of course Continuous Supplies.

The key details and accountabilities of this role are:

This role averages out at 37 hours a week, working a four on, four off rota shift pattern (mornings afternoons and nights). There is also the opportunity for overtime.

Class C & C+E Driving licenses are highly desirable as a lot of our operations involve driving our clean water tankers.

  • Responsibility for ensuring that we have great continuous supplies plans in place; that our continuous supplies assets are in good condition and ready to go when required and that our response is done in a timely manner.

Build rapport and establish great relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Work well in a team proactively and collaboratively, to ensure that water will still make it to our customers in a streamlined process, causing no additional worry.
