We have a super exciting 12 month opportunity as a Community Training and Relationship Manager to lead on a project delivering 100,000 hours of employability training offer to the communities we serve across Severn Trent.

We are super passionate in being able to help our community grow by delivering sessions on CV support, interview skills, communication training, workplace relationship building and developing essential digital skills.

Within this role you’ll partner and work closely with various charities and employability providers to offer employability skills to groups such as people with disabilities, ex-offenders, vulnerable women, disadvantaged youth, ex-service personnel and people returning to work after a long career break…to name just a few!

You’ll design, build and curate resources, materials and programmes of learning, ensuring content is engaging, relevant and community focused. Using your creative and out of the box thinking to deliver and evaluate learning and development projects and programmes that meet the various needs of our community.

Your proven experience in designing and delivering diverse learning is key as you’ll be delivering learning modules to communities across our Severn Trent region. What we are looking for is pride in your ability to create a valuable learning experience and demonstrating your vested interest in giving back to the community.

We want someone who truly cares about the community and the people we serve, with an incredible ability to build strong partnerships. Therefore, your established relationships with community charity groups, youth clubs and other organisations will be advantageous.

We are also looking to pull on your experience of facilitating and delivering insightful and educational campaigns that will engage and challenge learners.

We take pride in the diverse communities we serve and would be looking for a multi lingual Community Training and Relationship Manager to join us. It is essential to demonstrate an ability to understand the needs of different people to enable the design of delivery to cater to variety of identified needs.

A summary of the experience we are looking for is;

  • Proven experience in designing and delivering learning that caters to a variety of learner needs
  • Experience of deploying a range of learning modalities, including digital technologies
  • Experience of working with relevant professional institutes and organisations to bring insight into learning content where appropriate
  • Knowledge of relevant funding routes including apprenticeship levy
