About The Role

Joining us as Neighbourhood Coordinator, you will assist the general and supported housing departments by providing an efficient and effective coordination service for tenancy management and other functions, including reception, telephone cover and general office and team support duties.

Registering and updating applicants’ details as required, you will prepare offers of tenancy, deal with general enquiries, correspondence and assist in the administration of reviews of allocation processes, ensuring tenants meet requirements such as Section 106s. Raising orders and managing invoices for budget holders, you will, with guidance, organise and prepare agendas and reports for meetings, and assist in the preparation of accreditations and service inspections, participating in events coordination and promotion as requested.

About You

The role of Neighbourhood Coordinator would suit someone who has experience of a similar role; arranging appointments and managing calendars, preparing documents and letters, and providing information, advice and guidance, as and when required. You’ll need to have a strong customer focus and be IT literate, including Microsoft Office software. Good numerical skills and the ability to prepare statistical information is also essential.

A professional qualification such as a Level 2 in Housing, Advice and Guidance (or equivalent) is highly desirable, however, this is by no means essential.
