Due to continuing growth and development of Merlin’s attractions and brands on a global scale, we are looking for a NAV Consultant Developer to join our Group Finance Systems team. This role will be based at either our Basingstoke hub or Head Office in Poole.

About The Role...

In this role, you will provide both consulting and development experience into projects for our global finance systems: Initially Dynamics NAV, but with a view to cross-train into other systems NetSuite and its extended systems.

You will become the subject matter expert for all Dynamics NAV implementations at Merlin across Europe and Asia, including integrations into consolidated group reporting and extended systems such as Continia, Nova and Therefore.

You will engage with our internal customers and project management office to consult, design, test and deliver enhancements to our Dynamics NAV 2009, 2013 and 2017 systems.

You will provide 3rd line escalation and support to the NAV support team including the identification, design and delivery of pro-active, targeted training sessions. If required, you will provide cover for other team members ensuring first and second line support coverage to our internal customers is maintained.

You will work with our IT infrastructure and SQL teams to ensure all NAV systems remain operational.

About You...

• Functional experience delivering and supporting Dynamics NAV implementation projects covering Financials, Fixed Assets and Purchasing.
• Technical experience developing Dynamics NAV enhancements in C/AL.
• Experience of working with Microsoft Server technologies, including SQL Management Studio, Windows Task Scheduler,
• Event Logs and Services.
• Finance Accounting knowledge
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Good knowledge of continuous process improvement strategies.
• Experience of delivering training.
• Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels within the business.
• Flexibility to multi-task and adapt to changing business priorities.
• Experience of working with NetSuite, Kyriba, Concur or Docupeak, Dynamics 365 Business Central would be desirable but not essential.
