MyOracle Corporate Systems Vacancies

Essex County Council (ECC) is focused on ensuring current and future investment in technology to maximise the opportunities to support from a technology perspective.

In line with our tech strategy, a Cabinet decision was taken in 2020 to move to Oracle Cloud aka ‘My Oracle’.

To support the move to My Oracle, the new My Oracle Support team (which is made up of new and re-purposed roles) will enable ECC to be an influential client of Oracle with strong internal product knowledge and frequent meaningful network engagements, collaborating with other LA’s and organisations to ensure that the investment in the new system is optimised. It will support professional and general end users to embrace changes to technology and processes, supporting modernisation of professional services and driving continuous improvement. ​

It will have the capabilities to run, maintain and change My Oracle and will provide a ‘safe pair of hands’ for our investment, maintaining the structural, design and data integrity of the new system.​

These positions will initially, in line with current government guidance, be based from home. However, when government guidelines change going forward this role will likely work in a hybrid way, with an expectation that there will be a mix of days in the office and working from home/alternative locations.
