Opportunity is around the corner as Pertemps are seeking a Multiskilled Operative for a well-established local company in Lincoln (7 miles from the city centre). You will be assisting in the production of bespoke metal products for the agricultural industry using modern machinery, ranging from small items, gates, and large tank containers.You will be expected to be versatile to meet the needs of a wide-ranging customer base, whether they are looking for one offs, prototypes or a full range of products.What will I be doing? Shot blasting (walk in blaster) Operating a CNC machine to specifications and dimensions Operating a band saw to cut sheet metal Adhering to work safety and efficiency in a workshop environment.If you’re showing the enthusiasm and willingness to grow there is potential to learn new skills such as welding.
