We have an exciting opportunity for 3x Multi Skilled Maintenance Technicians to join our client’s ever growing and secure manufacturing group based in the North Derbyshire area.

This shift based position offers accredited training and upskilling, plus personal development for those who want it. This role is supported by an excellent salary and fantastic benefits package.

What’s On Offer As a Multiskilled Maintenance Technician

  • Basic Salary: £44,100
  • Shift based position working 48 hours week, working 12 hour shifts - 4 on 4 off alternate days/nights, 0600-1800, 1800-0600

Key Responsibilities Of The Multiskilled Maintenance Technician

  • Maintenance of DC motors and associated drives
  • Maintenance of process control equipment
  • Electrical installations and/or mechanical installation work
  • Carrying out planned and preventative maintenance systems (mechanical and electrical)
  • Breakdown maintenance involving fault finding on industrial and process control systems
  • Carry out electrical and mechanical repairs on PVCu extrusion plant and equipment
  • Liaison with contractors and suppliers
  • Ordering of new/replacement equipment
  • Issuing of work permits

What you need to apply for the Multiskilled Maintenance Technician role:

  • Recognised Electrical / Mechanical maintenance apprenticeship/training scheme
  • Electrical and Mechanical installation and maintenance experience gained in a manufacturing environment
  • Understand and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings
  • Maintenance and repair of PLC systems
  • Driving license
