Our client is actively seeking a time served Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician to strengthen the existing team. You will be responsible for: Assist the Technical Team Leader with the smooth running of the maintenance and engineering support services, including maintenance of the plant utilities (i.e. steam, compressed air generation, water circulation systems), and also hydraulic/pneumatic manufacturing processes and electronic/micro-processor-controlled moulding presses Maintain plant equipment and machinery to a high standard using planned maintenance programs and relevant systems. Maintain boilers, compressors, hydraulic units, control valves, pre-expanders, water system vales and all plant equipment. Needs to be able to perform simple repairs with gas, electrical and welding etc. Must complete daily routine maintenance/inspections and completed repairs as required according to quality standards. Advises Maintenance Manager of supplies required. Complete all duties allocated to the maintenance process team by other departments. Have knowledge of the expansion process along with hydraulics, pneumatics, steam systems and maintenance programmes etc. Knowledge of fault finding, component replacement, guarding systems, motor testing and replacing Control plant start-up, shutdowns and deal with any breakdowns appropriately. Assist the Maintenance Manager with the security of the site, including buildings, plant and equipment Assist the Maintenance Manager with compliance to our corporate services requirements including ISO T.S.

16949 and Health & Safety Management Systems To complete 12 improvement projects and present them in a professional way along with tracking any savings and proving out the improvement is/has worked. Control all production scrap & downtime; record it by entering the information into the IQMS system. Carry out a complete check of the quality of all 1st offs before handing them to QA, also place a hold label on the parts to identify them. Report any tooling issues you find when completing press set ups or during a production run. Monitor all weights and react to changing trends, make sure we are not giving material away. Target below the green line. Provide constant service to the production line, check the quality of the parts at all times by completing line inspections. Record all cycle times and monitor on IQMS. Communicate all issues and keep all departments informed of all activities. Verify wet weights and ensure quality is within specification. Monitor real time and keep a track on planning. Control all tank cleaning and WIP stock Complete all relevant checks, Steam leak reports, bead pipes, airlines and any other given. Work with Technical Team Leaders when you need support with problems or when setting sheets no longer seem to give the required results. Experience: Time-served Electrical or Mechanical Engineer Experience working with Hydraulics and Pneumatics Experience in maintenance of facilities This is a three shift rotation position with the flexibility to work weekends as and when required
