We’re looking for a Multi Skilled Engineer with a Plumbing or Mechanical Bias to join our Kier Facilities Management Team based in the Wiltshire area. Within this role working among a great team, supporting the delivery of a Facilities Management Hard Technical Services solution for our prestigious client, Wiltshire County Council, covering buildings across Wiltshire


Location: Mobile - covering domestic and commercial sites across Wiltshire, with a base office of North Bradley, Trowbridge

Contract: Permanent, Full Time


Responsibilities


As a Multi Skilled Engineer (Plumbing Bias), you’ll be working within the Facilities Management Team with a bias to mechanical and plumbing, supporting them in various areas.


Your day to day will include:


  • Delivering a combination of electrical, mechanical, water and building fabric planned (PPM), reactive, quoted, and extra works engineering services specialising in mechanical disciplines

  • Assisting in ensuring Kier deliver a safe, customer focused, cost effective, efficient, and compliant service to meet its contractual and legal obligations

  • Working with a various of disciplines including, but not limited to, tap testing, flushing & fixing, legionella tests, pump/compressor fault diagnosis, assessing plant equipment, fire alarm, emergency lighting, fuses, desk management, HVAC, AHU’s & compressors maintenance, and other general maintenance works within your abilities such as minor fabric, electric & heating repairs.

  • Working on complex commercial heating and low temperature heated water systems

  • Working on ladders, in tight spaces, and in plant rooms, both alone and in a team and be comfortable moving/transporting tooling & access equipment of all sizes & weights.


What are we looking for?


This role of Multi Skilled Engineer is great for you if you:


  • Have previous experience in commercial building services / facilities management

  • Are a qualified in Plumbing, Heating, or Mechanical Engineering

  • Can conduct a variety of building & facilities maintenance tasks, including, but not limited to, electrics & lighting, water & plumbing, HVAC, AHUs & compressors and have fault finding and reactive repairs experience
