The Role

As Operator you must have a real enthusiasm to work flexibly in teams. You should have a positive attitude in driving a safe working culture. Key personal characteristics for these roles are enthusiasm, a pro-active approach to work, thoroughness and good communication skills.

What You’ll Need
  • We work in a culture of continuous improvement so having experience of LEAN methodologies and conventional plant operations is desireable
  • If you have prior experience of working within the paper, FMCG or chemical industries (or other regulated industries) – then great! If not, here’s where you will be able to gain a wealth of experience in our industry.
  • You will adhere to all safety policies and principles – and have a level of competence to the SOP standard in defined area.
  • Identifying hazards in own area, and seeks to resolve with support.
  • Carry out operations within a production section - understanding the impact of that process on other areas
  • Identifying quality issues within own area and escalating where applicable
  • Carrying out defined work under instruction
  • Resolving problems within own work area
  • Maintaining work area to the defined standards
