As a progressive student-centred College, we are now looking for an Art & Design Technician.

Details of the role

The successful candidate will work with lecturing staff, and supervise students during practical sessions, exercising good and safe workshop practise in compliance with Health and Safety regulations and legislation, taking responsibility for the safe management of materials, chemicals, tools, equipment and instrumentation within the studio environments, to ensure the delivery of high-quality practical sessions which fully comply with relevant Health and Safety legislation and best practice.

Job Requirements

You will have relevant qualifications at level NVQ level 3 or above or equivalent experience in relevant occupation with a good understanding of a wide range of art & design materials and processes.

You will have Minimum 2 years experience relevant to subject and be able to prove recent experience in relevant occupational field.

You will have the ability to multi task whilst using Microsoft Office and College ordering systems and maintaing an enthusiastic attitude to training and the development of students.

This is a full time position.

Interviews will be held on Wednesday 9 August 2023.
