We recruit for Colleges and Training Providers across the UK.IntroductionOur client, who has been rated "Good" by Ofsted, is currently looking for a full-time, permanent Motor Vehicle, Mechatronics and Engineering Tutor to work in Nuneaton or Wigston. They have created a vibrant and inclusive learning environment that meets the needs of students, apprentices, employers, and local businesses. Your main responsibility will be to provide high-quality coaching and development for employed learners in the engineering sector for commercial and apprenticeship courses.Roles And ResponsibilitiesThe Motor Vehicle, Mechatronics and Engineering Tutor will be responsible for:
  • Delivering the Mechatronics Maintenance Technician apprenticeship standard
  • Providing high-quality coaching and development to employed learners within the engineering sector, for both commercial and apprenticeship courses
  • Manage the learners’ journey from induction to End Point Assessment, using blended learning to deliver knowledge, techniques, and skills
  • Organise recruitment and induction sessions, ensuring that learners understand the programme’s requirements
  • Ensure that learners are effectively managed throughout their programme, progressing within their job role and/or potential future roles in line with their ILP
  • Adhere to policies and procedures
Experience And SkillsThe Motor Vehicle, Mechatronics and Engineering Tutor will require the following:
  • A Level 3 Engineering qualification
  • A teaching qualification and Assessor award at Level 3
  • Functional Skills Level 2 (Maths and English) or above
  • An IAG at level 3 or level 2 Safeguarding is desirable
  • Experience working as an Engineering Tutor delivering assessments and apprenticeship learning
  • Good understanding of SEND, learner voice, Ofsted framework, etc
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A full driving license is desirable
