We are recruiting a Monitoring, Evaluation and Impact Manager to join our team at Education Development Trust working on the North East Ambition contract.

Location: Gateshead (although the role will be a mixture of home and office working)

What is North East Ambition?

The North East Ambition programme is designed to support SMEs and micro businesses across the North East link more effectively with local and national skills initiatives. The programme is a partnership between Education Development Trust and the North East Local Enterprise Partnership, building upon the successful North East Ambition pilot. The North East Ambition programme is a European Social Fund match funded programme that runs from December 2020 – December 2023.

The Monitoring, Evaluation and Impact Manager will manage the implementation of monitoring and evaluation frameworks for the North East Ambition contract and identify opportunities for wider implementation across the Careers and Employability Directorate.

The role holder will be managing and supporting the development of monitoring and evaluation systems within the Careers and Employability arm of Education Development Trust. This is a national role, and the successful candidate must have access to transport and be prepared to travel across England based on business need. It may be necessary on occasion to work outside standard office hours.

Candidate will have significant experience of developing and embedding monitoring and evaluation frameworks and tools as well as having project management experience.

Candidates should be educated to degree level or equivalent or have substantial experience in a monitoring and evaluation role.

Due to current Covid restrictions, this role is likely to require virtual engagement and so candidates will need to be comfortable with engaging with potential and actual programme beneficiaries through virtual means.

Salary: £36,267,00 per annum
