Job title: ESF Contract Manager (Employability and Careers)

Location: North East, Yorkshire (Leeds City Region & West Yorkshire)

Salary and Benefits: c£46,683 along with a generous holiday allowance (30 days), a 6% matched

Following our recent growth, and successes, in the employability and careers sector, we are therefore inviting applications from experienced Contract Managers to join our team.

The ESF Contract Manager will play a key role in leading, and defining the strategic direction of their respective project across the North of England. The role will be responsible for delivering the Project’s objectives through utilisation of our employability and careers resources plus infrastructure to maximise opportunities for those furthest away from the labour market in the identified project regions to find and sustain employment, addressing any barriers to securing employment with appropriate and effective interventions. Developing and maintaining excellent stakeholder relations including skills providers and employers will be key to the success of the project. The ESF Contract Manager will be responsible for the success of a multimillion-pound contract and will be a member of our senior management group, helping to shape and develop our employability strategy. The role will involve travel across the contract areas as expected so candidates will require to have their own car.

We are seeking contract/programme leaders with experience of managing senior operational personnel, who can excel with people skills in supporting their team of experienced managers; and is skilled in managing large budgets (ESF an advantage), believes in exceeding client and beneficiaries needs and you are committed to quality and ‘changing lives’; then we would be keen to hear from you. Ideally you will have expertise in the employability or careers sector, however we are also keen to hear from excellent candidates in other relevant programme delivery sectors.
