Modern Apprenticeship - Business and Administration - Clerical Officer

NHS Lanarkshire are delighted to announce that we have a vacancy for a Modern Apprenticeship in Business and Administration - Clerical Officer.

In order to be eligible for the Modern Apprenticeship Programme, applicants must be aged between 16 to 24 years old on the start date of the programme (or up to 29 years for disabled applicants or those that are care experienced*) and should be able to demonstrate that they can work to SCQF level 5/National 5 level.

This could be an excellent opportunity for you to gain on-the-job training that will support you in developing a range of business and administrative skills. You will be required to work towards a Level 5 SCQF qualification in Business and Administration. The post will be fixed term for a period of one year and will lead to a relevant nationally recognised qualification.

You should be highly motivated and committed to join our Modern Apprenticeship in Business and Administration. We are looking for someone with strong communication skills, with an ability to understand a range of procedures and processes. You should have a particular interest in administrative roles, along with a positive approach to work and good IT skills.

This Apprenticeship does not require previous experience within this sector and we would therefore encourage applications from school leavers and young people with limited work experience.

Applicants can find out more about this role, our modern apprenticeship programme and how to apply by attending our online MS Teams session running on Thursday the 11th of January at 3pm. This will also be a chance to ask any questions you may have about the vacancy.
