Graphic Designer; modern offices in Knutsford; Brand and creative campaigns; Full time or opportunity for 4 days a week or shorter hours across 5 days (pro-rata) // Supportive team environment; options for some remote working
We are looking for a talented Midweight Designer to join the creative team within a Design Marketing/Promotions agency in Cheshire, based within the lovely town of Knutsford.
The job is a Midweight Graphic Designer role (4+ years experience) with fantastic prospects for a hardworking and enthusiastic person, its a great environment to work in. Working in a small team, you will be able to take ownership of projects and take it from brief to completion, utilising your conceptual design skills. You will also need to be technically strong, be able to artwork, setting up files ready for print.
The role is full time but they could be flexible on working hours/days for the right candidate. For example, if you are looking to work 4 days or shorter hours over 5 days they would consider this (on a pro rata basis).

Role:
  • Both design and artworking on a variety of creative genres
  • Branding; including logo design and roll out,
  • Print design; brochures, advertisements, promotional items, menus, website visuals, social media assets, etc.
  • You will be expected to provide valid creative input for the full life cycle of a project from concept to production.
  • Basic web design, social media campaigns and web design assets such as banners and emails
Required skills;
  • 4+ years in-house graphic design experience is essential
  • Creative thinker who can develop new design concepts, graphics and layouts
  • Strong working knowledge of CS packages, including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Strong artwork skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent typography, space and layout skills
  • An understanding of production considerations such as image resolution and the fundamentals of print processes to prepare files for pre-press production
  • Design experience within the hospitality industry would be a distinct advantage
  • Any digital, web or online design skills, including Wordpress, would be an advantage
