We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Corporate Mid-Market Team as an Account Handler located in our Liverpool offices. This is the perfect role for an individual with a strong background in commercial insurance having worked in a Handler, Broker or Account Manager type role and looking to join an established, market leading insurance broker.

We will rely on you to:

  • Perform critical client functions, including: evaluating risks; reviewing loss experience, cash flow and financials; developing solutions; articulating impact of options; leveraging prepared analytics and making recommendations to client across product lines.
  • Work with Account Executives to retain and generate new business, by leveraging strategy information and managing contract reviews and midterm changes.
  • Strive to meet sales goals by partnering with Account Executives
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, prospects, client teams and producers to provide best in class service and drive growth.
  • Serve as a client contact for day-to-day needs and answers standard or more difficult client questions to improve the client experience.
  • Maintains a detailed understanding of changing market condition and understands and complies with all compliance, professional and transparency standards to better serve clients

What you need to have:

  • In-depth commercial insurance knowledge across a broad range of products
  • Enjoy working within a culture of continuous improvement, from both an individual and team focus
  • Ambitious nature and a keen contributor within a team environment
  • Articulate with strong client facing and stakeholder management abilities

What makes you stand out:

  • Ideally hold or be working towards the Dip CII qualification
  • Broker System experience (ideally Acturis)
  • Proven expertise of Financial Lines insurances from either underwriting or broking background
