Job OverviewDue to investment and expansion of our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) we are seeking to recruit a mental health practitioner (Social Work/Nurse/OT) for our CAMHS Intensive Treatment Team working across East and West of Somerset. This is an exciting time to join our CAMH Service, as we develop our community and urgent care offer to children and young people in Somerset.The Intensive Treatment Team works alongside the Core CAMH Services to provide time limited interventions with increased frequency and flexibly to support engagement and good outcomes.Main duties of the jobYou’ll join the team in supporting children/young people presenting with a broad range of complex difficulties including anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, trauma and those presenting with associated risk.This role requires flexible working hours.Working for our organisationSomerset NHS Foundation Trust endeavours to provide development opportunities for those looking to develop a career in the NHS, in both clinical and non-clinical roles.These Networks Provide a Safe Space For Colleagues To Share Their Experiences And Learn From One Another, But Also Influence Change Across Our TrustWe have six active and impactful colleague networks.
