Role: Part-time 2.5days, permanent

Location: Field Based - Flexible across UK

The Role

Due to continued global company growth, we’re seeking an innovative and proactive Medical Science Liaison Officer to act as the interface between our company and medical / scientific professionals, providing them with advanced disease state and product expertise to inform their work in-line with industry regulatory requirements while supporting our peri-launch activities from our Specialty Brands portfolio. As our subject matter expert, you’ll respond to enquiries from scientific and healthcare professionals in a timely manner (both electronic and in-person), acting as a trusted source of accurate and current medical information - this could include providing feedback from clinical trials, signposting relevant information, delivering educational presentations or participating to advisory board meetings.

The Person

  • Will have significant experience in previous Medical Affairs roles (ideally across multiple therapeutic areas)
  • Possess a rounded understanding of pharmaceutical regulatory frameworks and associated ‘conflict of interest’ clauses
  • You will hold a degree or masters level qualification in a health sciences subject (e.g. RN, RPh, PA, NP) with significant clinical, research or industry experience, or ideally have an advanced degree in health sciences (e.g. PharmD, MD, PhD); particular expertise in the oncology and/or autoimmune therapy areas would be beneficial
  • Ability to be concise and specific to your audience - be that through written reports or engaging presentations
  • Have a robust understanding of the ABPI Code requirements
  • A natural team player, you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
