Job Description
  • Job Title: Administrator (Medical Devices)
  • Job Type: 12 month fixed term contract
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week
  • Job Location: Oldbury
  • Salary: £18,000 and £20,000 per annum, plus you’ll benefit from a 10% performance bonus, a contributory pension scheme and life cover.
As a medical device administrator you’ll be responsible for providing professional and efficient administrative and systems support to the Medical Devices Team and support/monitor all SGS affiliate offices managing medical devices clients ensuring the highest level of service to our customer through efficient serviced delivered

Key Accountabilities;
  • Record and manage the day to day audit pack approval process, ensure resources are allocated appropriately and cost effectively
  • Manage the Global Medical central inbox ensuring that all communications are passed to the relevant team member or answered appropriately and within 1 working day after being received
  • All communications to affiliates and the medical device team are effectively delivered
  • Personal matrix to be updated and auditor’s profile to updated with latest documents
  • Transcribe working days and work completed from pack reviewer’s logs to pack review analysis
  • Provide weekly analysis on the packs going through approval, pack reviewers KPI and the number of man days available
  • To collaborate with affiliates and the medical device team on packs that have open queries
  • Update log with received forms from competent authorities and to send completed forms to the competent authority within 1 working day of being received

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you’ll need experience of working in a high-level administrative environment (collation and analysis of data), or collation and data analysis skills gained through degree level education or equivalent and experience with MS Office and other software packages

In addition to the above you’ll also need to demonstrate the following;
  • Ability to multi task and work under pressure
  • Effective interpersonal skills at all levels
  • Ability to demonstrate attention to detail
The following attributes would be desirable, but not essential;
  • Qualification in a technical discipline related to medical devices
  • Experience of working in an accredited certification business
