At Lidl, we’re Big on collaboration, Big on media, Big on making great creative and ensuring it gets seen, put-ting smiles on faces and products in trolleys, and we’re looking for an enthusiastic, pro-active Media Executive to join a busy and ambitious team that develops and delivers brand, trade, and local campaigns. This is a key role in a busy central team, would suit someone who has worked with/in a 3rd party agency and has a good understanding of the marketing mix.
What will you do?
- Brief and manage all Tier 3 campaigns, equipping the media agency with all necessary information
- Assist Media Officer and Digital Marketing Manager in the timely management of Tier 3 and Tier 2 media plans across all media channels and in the day-to-day operations such as status meetings and internal stakeholder comms
- Liaise with the in-house campaign management and in-house production teams to ensure asset requirements are clear and critical paths are being followed for all Tier 3 campaigns.
- Liaise with internal departments such as buying, packaging and promotions to provide the required information to all agencies and manage digital production asset approvals
- Manage any BAU PPC activity and YouTube content
- Manage media reporting
- General marketing administration duties
Your profile
- Previous experience in a similar role in-house or agency, with retail experience advantageous
- Keen interest in media, both offline and online
- Experience using projects management tools, i.e. ASANA
- Proactive, inquisitive nature with an unwavering eye for detail
- Strong organisational skills and with the capability to balance multiple priorities
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and influence with internal and external stakeholders ranging from commercial teams to creatives
- Confident with excellent communication skills
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including a strong working knowledge of Excel
- German skills are desirable, but not essential
