Contract Basis ongoing long term

Earlies Shift Option £13.69 PAYE, Monday to Friday 06:00 to 14:00

Lates Shift Option £14.74PAYE, Monday to Friday 14:00 to 22:00

Mechanical Production Operative sought within a highly successful division of an international manufacturer producing specialist equipment for the Semiconductor and electronic industries.

The role will be suited to those with any previous experience in a mechanical based assembly role from any manufacturing or production environment.

The role will be based around the build of mechanical sub assemblies for electro mechanical based safety equipment. You will work from mechanical drawings and have the help and mentoring of your team leader in the early stages. This is a KPI and quality focussed role working to strict safety standards.

The company has been trading for many decades in Somerset and as part of a global group of engineering brands has huge investment and further expansion to the manufacturing facility is planned enabling further growth to local employment and long term job security for all employees, progression to higher skilled roles will be made available with training if desired.

The Role
  • Mechanical build of sub assemblies for specialised safety equipment
  • Work to mechanical drawings and build instructions
  • Work on a KPI and quality focussed basis
The Person
  • Experience in mechanical assembly in a previous role in any manufacturing or production environment
  • Willing to work an earlies or late shift option.
