Job ProfileJob Profile for Mechanical Installation Engineer - RE252302Mechanical Installation Engineer required. My client is a leading supplier of power Generation solutions across the UK and europe. They are looking to bolster their install team by bringing on board a Mechanical installation Engineer to cover client sites across the country and Europe (predominantly Lodon / South East). The ideal candidate will come from an Mechanical installation background and be based around London / home counties.Mechanical Installation Engineer Position Overview
  • Overseeing and leading mechanical install projects
  • Performing welding and fabrication works both on site and at the service centre
  • Performing fuel related works both on site and at the service centre
  • Attending site surveys
  • Measuring up and creation of build materials needed and engagement with procurement on ordering of materials and stock needed
  • Actively engaging with H&S initiatives
  • Attending FAT’s/SAT’s
  • In quiet times and when workload dictates assist with site installs, cable installs
  • Travelling to customer sites across the country and Europe (the majority of work will be across London and South East)
Mechanical Installation Engineer Position Requirements
  • Experience in creating RAMS
  • Previous install, mechanical, fabrication experience
  • ECS/CSCS Card
  • Mechanical & Electrical experience necessary
  • Understanding of Health and Safety
  • Welding pipe work / basic Electrical understanding
  • Good fuel system knowledge (FPU, Installs, Fuel Polishing)
  • Full Driving licence and valid passport
  • Based within 90 minutes of Rochester
Mechanical Installation Engineer Position Remuneration
  • Salary £34,000 - £42,000 DOE
  • Door to Door pay
  • Company Van and fuel card
  • Full time Monday to Friday 47.5 hours a week
  • 28 days Holiday including bank holidays
  • Pension
