Mechanical Assembly Fitter - Stonehouse

Our client is a world leading engineering and manufacturing company supplying services to the oil and gas industry. Due to continual production expansion we are looking to recruit Mechanical Assembly Fitter

Primary responsibilities:-
  • The assembly of mechanical assemblies using hand, electric and pneumatic tools.
  • The assembly / disassembly equipment.
  • Preparing machines from initial build to readiness for testing.
  • Ability to strip & report on equipment in house for refurbishment.

Person Profile
  • Confidence and ability to work unaided and also when required work within a team.
  • A positive “can do” attitude is expected.
  • An understanding of engineering drawings an asset.
  • The position would likely suit a person with sound general engineering knowledge.
  • Perhaps you have previously worked as a technician within a manufacturing facility or field service.
Salary in the region of £12.00 - £13.00 per hour

Hours of work 7.30 – 16.00 Monday to Thursday, 7.30 – 13.30 Friday.

This is a permanent position, pay is weekly, and holiday allowance is 22 days per annum plus statutory bank holidays & a contributory pension scheme
