Are you a passionate Mechanical Design Engineer, looking for an exciting new role?

Coulter Elite Resourcing are currently looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to work with one of their well-established and very successful clients based in Peterborough working as part of their Design team.

My client is looking for a candidate to play an active role in engineering development projects.

And issue machines and ancillary equipment to contract, whilst maintaining a modular product structure for product range.

Principle Responsibilities for the Mechanical Design Engineer:-

  • Ensure accurate drawings and parts lists are produced in accordance with standards and quality procedures.
  • To manage priorities to ensure project schedules are maintained.
  • To ensure compliance of the equipment with legislation (e.g. EC Directives).
  • To ensure compliance of the equipment with company standards and quality procedures.
  • To maintain and update drawings and parts lists by completion of change requests.
  • To work with suppliers to ensure applications are fully and reliably implemented.
  • To undertake calculations to aid design work on projects.
  • To brief field engineers and visit customer sites when necessary.

Person specification:-

  • A highly motivated, confident, and dedicated professional.
  • Competent in the use of 3D design and ERP business systems.
  • An innovative engineer with an analytical approach to problem solving.
  • Able to work alone or as a member of a design team.

This is a full time permanent Mechanical Design Engineer position offering an annual salary up to £35,000k plus annual company benefits to include a 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays, pension scheme, discount scheme on all company products and free car parking.
