Job Profile

Mechanical Design Engineer required for a well-established manufacturer of machinery based in the Knutsford, Cheshire area. In support of continual growth, the Mechanical Design Engineer will be joining a professional and effective Design team, and will play a hands-on role in the product development.

Mechanical Design Engineer Position Overview
  • Overseeing the development of products and assemblies from conceptual drawing stage right through to design for manufacture.
  • Creating 3D drawings of equipment to customer specifications.
  • Maintaining the PDM drawings database
  • Liaising closely with other members of the design and manufacture team.
Mechanical Design Engineer Position Requirements
  • 1+ plus years’ experience within Mechanical Design Engineering
  • HNC / Degree / Apprentice served in Mechanical / Production Engineering
  • Fully proficient with 3D modelling software.
  • Based in a commutable distance of Knutsford.
  • Full UK Driving License
Mechanical Design Engineer Position Remuneration
  • Salary £25,000 - £30,000 - Dependent upon experience
  • Monday to Friday, Full-time, Permanent
  • Pension and Holiday allowance
