Job description

My client is seeking 2 SC Cleared Mechanical CAD Designers to support all of the Mechanical Design work on internally funded and customer funded projects. This would be a quick start


British national and citizen (no dual nationality)


Specialist Knowledge:-
Good working knowledge of Creo Elements 3.0 and Windchill PDM Link 11.0
Good working knowledge of AutoCAD 2020 & Autodesk Inventor 2021


Industry Experience:-
Marine Industry
Mechanical Industry
Electro Mechanical Industry
Served an Apprenticeship


Technical Skills:-
Knowledge of workshop practice.
Knowledge of manufacturing techniques.
Knowledge of engineering materials and processing.
Ability to perform manual calculations.
Understand the basic Microsoft Office packages.
Have previous experience of working on Military Projects.
Production drawings and tolerancing.
Full understanding of the Design Process

Qualifications:-
HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering

Personal Characteristics:-
Proactive and shows initiative
Team player
Good communication skills
Organised and capable of managing own tasks
Problem Solver

Other:-
Good mathematical knowledge and analytical ability.
Good technical writing skills.
Strong IT skills, in particular with MS Office products.
