About Our M&A Business Line

We have two business streams under our M&A business line, Maritime and Aviation. Within our business we provide expert and specialist consultancy services across the globe. We pride ourselves on our blend of digital application and deep domain knowledge. Our fully integrated, multidisciplinary approach means we can deliver all the expertise a project requires, from master planning to create new port or airport facilities to detailed design and to optimising existing facilities.

Role Context

You will join our UK Heavy Mechanical and Electrical Engineering team based in Peterborough. You will be responsible for developing document storage and CAD skills on projects under supervision of more senior members of staff as well as developing their skills within the field of telecommunications and electrical engineering.

You’ll be enrolled on an approved Level 3 Apprenticeship scheme, during which you will undertake a supervised programme of in-house training running parallel to college day release. Working towards Engineering Technician standard including Functional Skills (Level 2/3) in English, Mathematics and relevant engineering and industry technology.

Job Role
  • Assist with processing incoming data including drawings, schedules, photographs etc
  • Assist with drawing issues and maintaining drawing registers
  • Assist with site surveys and inspections, and recording of information obtained
  • Produce CAD drawings/models to Royal HaskoningDHV’s CAD standards
  • Assist Project Managers with the administration of BIM standards on projects
  • Be responsible for completing your work within programme and budget
  • Attend college on a day release basis and complete all coursework / work based-assignments and assessments in the workplace
