We are looking for a dynamic teacher with up to date knowledge of both GCSE and Functional skills specifications

At Harrogate College we believe in delivering a progressive curriculum, that provides our students with the skills, knowledge and behaviours to be successful within their chosen career. The Maths and English team work with both adult and 16-18 students. The majority of our delivery is on the GCSE program with a small amount of functional skills.

What You Will Do

Plan and prepare schemes of work along with teaching and learning resources to engage all learners.

Be responsible for recording student progress.

Maintain and update knowledge of educational research to develop evidence-based practice.

Motivate and inspire students to achieve their targets and develop their skills.

Reflect on what works best in teaching and learning to meet the diverse needs of our students. Carry out internal verification duties inline with quality assurance processes.

YOUR PROFILE

You will be required to work well as part of a team to ensure that all of our students receive the skills needed to help with their progression.
