Here at Riverview we are always on the lookout for enthusiastic people to join our friendly team. We value passion and attitude just as much as we do qualifications and experience. To be part of our team you need to be dedicated to delivering a personal service to our clients. Our clients are at the centre of what we do, our success and reputation is built upon our high quality, personalised service.

You will join us on a full-time, maternity cover contract basis, working 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday. The successful applicant will have previous and extensive experience in managing multiple weekly and monthly payrolls therefore a background in practice or payroll bureau would be preferable. You will be responsible for the full end-to-end routine payroll processing for our expanding client base. Payroll duties include the full year-end requirements, P11D reporting, CIS submissions, Pension Administration and payroll legislation advice to clients.

The successful candidate must have at least two years’ experience and ideally familiar with Sage 50 Payroll and Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel. You will possess technical payroll ability, a keen eye for detail and be able to work effectively as part of a high performing team. You will be a dedicated team player who can also perform tasks independently; be motivated and proactive in carrying out daily tasks and client focussed with a ’can-do’ approach to problem solving.

Applicants must also possess excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills and have the confidence to liaise with clients and outside agencies such as HMRC.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines whilst keeping their sense of humour. We also ask for flexibility in working hours during peak periods. Candidates should note that a full driving licence and use of a car during the working week is required, as you may be visiting clients at their premises, or representing the company at other meetings.

For more information and to apply for a role with us please email your CV, salary expectation, availability and a cover letter outlining why this environment would suit you and what you think you could do for our clients.

Due to the high volume of applications we receive, we reserve the right to close a vacancy earlier than the advertised date. This is to ensure we can manage application levels while maintaining a positive candidate experience. Once a vacancy has closed, we are unable to consider further applications, so please submit your application as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
