What are we looking for?

Reporting directly to the local Market Activity Manager, this role plays a crucial part in the effective delivery of the Pet Nutrition UK brand plans, by supporting the pack imagery management and owning the artwork approval process including Marketing pack copy & translation support. This role will also own the scan cards process.

This role plays a key part in leading the artwork approval process (including Marketing pack copy & translation support) to ensure all packs are delivered right first time.

In this context the job holder requires an understanding of our portfolio plans and priorities in addition to artwork, sample processes, reporting systems, understanding of our organization and people skills to maintain good relationships locally and the wider strategy deployment team.

Level of Independence: Assignment of tasks to be set by Market Activity Manager. Delivery is expected to be largely independent with required level of coaching/support from line manager

Level of Routine: In general tasks follow defined processes, but situational adjustment needed. Ad hoc requests will be frequent and thus vary tasks and workload.

What will be your key responsibilities?
  • ARTWORK APPROVAL AND IMAGERY MANAGEMENT
  • The job holder is required to lead the Artwork Approval process for all Pet Nutrition UK brands, ensuring ‘right first time’ approved pack artwork is achieved within required timeframes.
  • Ensure best in class knowledge management of our packaging & artwork
  • Marketing pack copy translations– ensure that correct text is translated
  • Ensure best in class knowledge management of our pack images & associated artwork
  • Briefing and approval of 3D images in partnership with other stakeholders
  • Manage relationship with fulfillment agencies and ensure we have the right images/pack shots for Mars Media Pool, POS visuals and eCom websites
