Grantley Hall is an exclusive, five star luxury hotel and wellness retreat, nestled in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. With 47 exquisite rooms and suites, four exceptional restaurants and five sophisticated bars. The extensive development has also included the introduction of a tranquil spa and pioneering ELITE luxury gym and executive wellness facility, alongside a stunning events pavilion that seats up to 180 guests with a unique and glamorous champagne and cocktail bar.

We are looking for a highly organised, determined, and passionate Marketing Executive to join our busy Marketing team. You will be providing support to implement the marketing strategy and report directly to the Marketing Manager on all marketing tasks. The role requires a passion for hospitality or food and drink, great time management and the ability to deliver various tasks within deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • To assist in the development and implementation of Grantley Hall’s marketing strategy and campaigns.
  • To generate creative ideas and solutions to match the revenue needs of the business for online, direct and social media marketing.
  • Plan and design regular email marketing content for our guests and wider database.
  • Draft and produce marketing material and operational collateral, liaising with printers for production.
  • Develop and maximise our online presence working with our web development agency on our SEO and PPC strategy.
  • Update and manage the website, regularly reviewing content to ensure information is up to date.
  • Monitor and liaise with third parties to manage our listings.
  • Plan and draft social media content across multiple social media platforms, working alongside all departments to create original and engaging content.
  • Plan and deliver our paid social media strategy.
  • Support with planning and delivering our ticketed events calendar.
  • Review our social media impact and engagement through analytics.
  • Support and deliver our internal communications strategy including our monthly staff newsletter.
  • Brand management to ensure all communications across the multiple hotel brands adhere to brand guidelines.
  • Providing weekly and monthly reporting on all marketing activity as required.
  • Support with the coordination of photoshoots and video shoots.
  • Monitor competitor activity on press and online.
  • Back office activity including supporting operational teams with printing menus.
  • Attending events, trade shows and networking opportunities as an ambassador for the brand.
  • Identify new trends in marketing to ensure the Grantley Hall remains at the forefront of industry developments.
  • To assist the Senior Marketing Executive, Marketing Manager, Director of Sales & Marketing, General Manager and company Directors in additional marketing related requests as required.
