An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Coordinator to join the Tops Day Nurseries and Aspire Training Team family. We pride ourselves on employee care and career development; as such we offer in house training, flexible working hours, family friendly policy, pension & staff welfare.

Established over 30 years ago, Tops Day Nurseries and Aspire Training Team operate across the South Coast.

We are looking for an enthusiastic leader to manage the Marketing team and organise the implementation of marketing strategies for Aspire Training Team and Tops Day Nurseries.

The ideal candidate will have strong management and organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise in an environment with frequent interruptions. Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential along with the ability to work without supervision. This role will cover a variety of remits covering online advertising, social media, photography & videography, networking, web development, public relations and more, with support from our awesome marketing team.

There is potential for flexibility between working from home and in The Hub.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be an exceptional leader who can develop strategies into workable plans
  • Have the ability and experience to effectively manage a team
  • Have a thorough understanding and proven experience of both online and offline marketing mediums
  • Be able to build brilliant working relationships to ensure common goals can be achieved
  • Need a clear and valid DBS – overseas applicants will need a clear and valid certificate of good conduct
  • Be flexible with start and finishing times
  • Have impeccable interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively to colleagues of all levels of seniority

Your Duties & Responsibilities will involve:

  • To work with the Management and Directors to promote a coordinated, professional organisation that is continually improving and aspiring to excellence.
  • To ensure the company is presented at the forefront of the sectors it operates in, promoting equal opportunities, health & safety, and sharing best practice.
  • Support the Sales & Marketing Director to translate marketing strategies into workable plans across the various brands within Hadland Care Group.
  • Support the creation of individual marketing plans for each setting and / or brand.
  • Coordinate the efforts of the marketing team to implement marketing plans.
  • Liaise with 3rd party suppliers to deliver promotional material and services in support of the marketing strategies.
  • Business networking to gather contacts and maximise promotional opportunities.
  • Maintain all online and offline content to a high standard with current up to date content, including websites, search listings, social media pages, local advertising etc…
  • Oversee all communications ensuring they are in line with company branding guidelines.
  • Analyse marketing data to support campaign creation.
  • Report on activities within the marketing department and results of campaigns.

Essential Qualifications and Experience.

  • A high level of commercial awareness and a desire to deliver tangible results in a cost effective manner.
  • Marketing qualification
  • Team Leader or Management qualification
  • Experience managing a team
  • At least 3 years’ experience working in marketing roles.
  • Proficient in the advanced use of Microsoft office and modern communication skills.
  • Proficient in the use of Mailchimp and other marketing communication tools.
  • Proficient in the use of Word Press
  • Knowledge of Adobe Indesign, Canva and other design tools.
  • A strong knowledge and experience of social media platforms, software and industry trends.
  • A strong knowledge and experience of SEO and PPC.
  • Excellent communication and copy writing skills
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Degree in creative PR, Marketing or Sales.
  • Video and sound recording, editing,
  • Physical graphic design.
  • Driving Licence & use of car with business use.
  • Prepared to undertake professional development as appropriate.
  • Ability to lead a team as a reliable professional, developing positive relationships with colleagues.
  • Previous experience within a Creative Design Environment
